We are a church striving to fulfill the great commission through a commitment to ministry that touches our community. Virtually every day of the week, something is going on at Providence. Monday through Friday both a pre-school and after school program operates on our church campus. Blessed with over 35,000 sq. ft. of campus facilities including our worship center and Family Life Center Gym, these programs seek to provide fee based ministry to our community. They supplement our regular ministry to children through Wednesday evening classes and Sunday morning age-graded Children’s worship.

Additionally, Providence supports a once monthly food distribution program that touches the lives of over 500 people each month. This program is augmented by delivery to an additional 150 elderly residents of our greater community, as well as a back-pack food program for needy children in our local school.

Our student ministry provides a vibrant and exciting atmosphere for youth from age 13 to college. The foundation of this program is Friday night lights youth worship in our FLC, and West Stanly High School FCA meetings each Monday during the school year. Regular social outings and special trips also highlight the calendar for Chad and Kara Horn, our Youth Pastor. Our in house Youth Band, DETOUR, provides a regular opportunity for worship to the students involved in the ONE WAY STUDENT MINISTRIES.

While these are just a few of the many specialized ministries of Providence, they are a good representative of the multi-faceted approach to ministry we try to embrace. Each Sunday, our sanctuary is a welcome home to contemporary worship, biblical teaching, and friendly fellowship.
